Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirm he is prepare to deal with the situation if Los Blancos are eliminate from the Champions League play-offs against arch-rivals Manchester City.

‘Yes, I am ready for sure and above all because เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย I have such a history. When I play in knockout rounds there is a risk that things will not go well and this risk increases when you face one of the best teams and one of the best coaches. But we are very well prepare,’ said Ancelotti.

Asked to pick one quality from Pep Guardiola he would like to have in his team and name one of his qualities that would benefit the City boss, Ancelotti replied: ‘What I can say is that I think he’s a coach who brings a lot to football: possession, attacking play, pressing, coming out from the back. We were innovators in football and I have a lot of respect for him. He’s one of the best, if not the best. ‘

‘Every time we play against each other, preparing for the game is always a nightmare because he always has an idea that makes you think.’

Asked if he was surprised by City’s unusually poor performances this season, the Italian replied: ‘Of course I am surprised. They went through a difficult period, with injuries and defeats, but now, from what I see, they are as competitive as ever. I have no doubts about whether City are strong or not. I cannot do that. ‘

In recent years, every time Real Madrid beat Man City, they won the Champions League, while Man City also won their first and only trophy after breaking through the Los Blancos.

Ancelotti said of the issue: ‘It’s always a headache, but the truth is, when City beat us they are champions. On the other hand, I think whoever goes through will go far in this competition.’

‘The surprise is that we have to play in the play-offs and if we are here, it is not UEFA’s fault, it is our fault. But it is surprising because this game could have been a final, a semi-final or a quarter-final. But I repeat, it is our fault.’
