Declan Rice, Man of the Match for Arsenal’s 3-0 Champions League quarter-final first leg win over Real Madrid yesterday, thank the Gooners fans for coming out in full force and cheering so powerfully that a memorable night was made.

The game at the Emirates Stadium saw over 60,000 fans rush into the stadium and cheer wildly, allowing the team to dominate the ball with a 55%:45% advantage over their opponents, including 11 total scoring opportunities (8 on target).
In addition to sharing credit with teammates and staff, Rice also said it was because of the support of the fans.
